Fraser plays a leading role…

Last night Fraser played a starring role as the baby Jesus in the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Services Christmas carol concert at Lichfield Cathedral…

After Mary and Joseph arrived at the altar – I casually nipped up and placed him in the manger… the little star then happily watched the bright lights and the new faces and listened to 5 or 6 carols and readings.

He remained quiet throughout AND as one of my colleagues said it certainly hasn’t harmed any of my promotion chances in the future with the Chief and Deputy Chief Fire Officers sitting in the front row. He received lots of attention during drinks and mince pies after the service!!!!

 

Of course OUR girls looked gorgeous too!!!

Clarke – Higginson re-union

What  fun we had tonight!

Pouring through old photos of happy holidays and reminiscing about the good old days.

Lovely to have Sarah and Christian calling round to the house!

We should have taken a photo – then we might recall the evening and have a bit of a laugh in another 10 years’ time when we get together again.

 And a big thank you to wee Fraser for entertaining us all evening!

Fraser is having his first night away from home!

After a few disturned nights (the weem and had been behaving really well until recently) – Mari and Matthew have popped up for a wee visit. Matthew is off to organise a telemark skiing festival near Leeds and Mari and the Girls (and Fraser) are just going to relax and enjoy putting their feet up…..

Family Meet Up Feb 2008

How do?

Liz and Paul Brown asked us round to chat “BARNY WEEKENDS” last Saturday. Diane and Allan came too and we tried to involve the 21st birthday people as much as possible . . .
Everyone was wild about organising a weekend in Feb. as a combined re-union and 21st celebration.

HOWEVER!!!

When we went to book the 1st weekend in Feb (as planned) – the place we chose was booked up.
It is free for the SECOND weekend – that’s the 8th till the 10th Feb – so we’ve provisionally booked THAT weekend.
BUT - we need to check that this second date is OK with the immediate family and particularly the 21st Birthday Party people.

Can people please get in touch with me to let me know which dates are best for you?

As if the dates don’t suit, there is another place which also looks good, but we thought that Halton Gill would be more popular.
